This story is a parody/continence of "Avatar:The Last Air Bender," about the four elements (earth, air, fire and water) and four girls and four boys in particular, who all struggle with their own seperate problems, and the one that will change their lives forever.
Prologues:
Fire Element
I hate all these stupid events, but this is the worst. I bet it was the same for the generation of the last leaders -- just as annoyed as I am right now. It's just a chance for parents to show off and brag on their "prodigy kids." My dad is a pro when it comes to that. If I ever embarrass him, he'll slaughter me in front of his step-wife a.k.a "The Witch," that's my codename for her, I don't like her, she tries to hard to get me to "appreciate her being there as a mother figure." The best I can do is pray for the best, and hope dad doesn't disown me for whatever I do tonight... ©
Water Element
Melandra rolled her eyes, my mom frowned, her long, flowing, graying hair flowed to one side, she was too delicate, but I guess that's what dad liked about her. I glanced over at Mel as she chose an accessory, her dress was evening purple, going perfectly with her beautiful long black hair. I'd refused to grow out my brownish-teal hair when I was five and now I was suffering the consequences of being called the boy of the family, ah well having short hair isn't half as bad as tonight will be. ©
Earth Element
Martin is my guardian, I don't have parents. Apparently, they were alive when I was uhm..."abandoned," I only wonder about them when it comes to times where they're involved like when I have to brush my hair in the morning, I always wonder what it would be like if I had my mom to help me in the mornings. I don't talk to people much at all, because Martin's got a strict influence as my guardian, especially when it comes to work or lessons. I'm not scared of him really. I just feel like the slightest movements could get me in boiling water. He's out most of the evening but, it's important to him that I do excellent if not perfect tonight. ©
Air Element
I love my friends. They’re perfect. Though we all have our flaws; Auja with her strict father, Nia with her loud personality (which is pretty big for such a tiny looking girl). Jade, Ms. Cool, she acts so all-knowing sometimes, you just wanna slap her. Last but never least Kay, my go to girl for any problem, but sometimes she can't keep her mouth shut. Through everything we've been through, I'd never trade ‘em for anything, no matter what happens tonight, we are inseparable. But now that I think about it, will tonight really change anything? What if it changes everything? No, no what am I thinking? We are inseparable. For now. ©
