The third day of the trial was somewhat unlike the first two. Dark and Light Sisters continued to come, and Ynarra still stayed with Elora, but by now the accused woman had recovered enough to talk shyly with her visitors if they chose, and there was more genuine friendliness shown to her than she'd imagined possible. Nothing could erase the wrongs that she had done, however, she could spend the rest of her life in attempting to atone.
Elora maintained an attitude of dejection and sadness the majority of the time, though, despite trying to hide this from her sister. She was just as without hope that the jurors would unanimously vote to accept her back into the community as she had ever been; Elora was convinced the Red Morrigan would be summoned for her, red instead of black because, rather than merely collecting a soul, the being would be there to end her life, to kill.
