This doll is created for the "Creepy Fairy Tales" contest and inspired by the fairy tale "The Twelve Brothers" of the Brothers Grimm. But there are so many other variants of these tale, for example, one with swans, doves or ducks. But I think ravens seem more eerie ^v^

Story: A king wants to kill his twelve sons, so that if his thirteenth child would be a girl, she alone can inherit his kingdom... The princess is born... The brothers swear bloody revenge on every girl... Then the siblings live together in harmony... But due her fault, the brothers are turn to ravens. In order to save her brothers, the princess decides not to speak and not to laugh for seven years! Then a king marries her, but her mother-in-law denies her... At the end of the story, the young queen is to be burned at the stake on the orders of her husband. But she is rescued by her brothers! Happy End ^^

No lies I used to be scared of Bros Grimm's 'fairytales' when I was little...nah, no bed time story for me, I just hid in my strongest armor against all evil forces, which is my quilt and read all that stuff myself.
