|My version of "Snow White". I know it's not a particularly imaginative doll, but I just felt like it! What is the meaning of the scene? Well, who knows... ^v^ One thing is certain: The pretty girl with the red cheeks would be born by a great desire!
In the first version by the Brother Grimm, it's the father, the King who wants badly a baby-girl, as he and his wife drive past three piles of snow, three pits full of blood and three ravens.
By the way: In the first printed edition by the Brother's, the Queen is Snowy's real mother! This makes a lot more sense in my opinion: the Queen wants to kill her own daughter out of jealousy... Once she was herself so young and beautiful, but then she had a child, moreover, a girl, a so called "Doppelgaenger" - and as the years went by, it was over with her own "freshness". Thus she couldn't cope any longer! ^v^
