Nora grew up in the basement of her family's castle. She was never allowed to leave and thus spent her childhood completely sheltered from everyone and everything else until her 18th birthday when her parents were killed in a fire (she narrowly escaped) and Nora became the ruler of her kingdom.
The Yellow Princess represents childhood and adulthood.
