As expected, Ynarra had more to say to her sister, on Elora's behalf and regarding pleasant memories they shared, than anyone else could. On the first day, she was the only person to visit the accused Dark Sister all morning, but as she never lacked for gentle, supportive things to talk about, the remorseful traitor slowly began to come out of her shell. Sometimes the examples of Elora's acts of goodness and kindness were important things, but more often they were small, everyday matters. "Do you remember that autumn day when you were twelve, and you climbed too high in the apple tree getting the best apple for me?" Ynarra had a seemingly endless supply of these anecdotes of ordinary life, many from the younger Witch's childhood, as she started reminiscing there, but by no means limited to then. And gradually, a view of Elora that wasn't completely tainted with bitterness emerged.
