| This tale isn’t that well know,so I added a little summary because I couldn’t find an English version of this story that I could have linked to save my life.Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess with brilliant blue eyes.When the princess fell in love with a peasant,her mother got very angry as she wanted her daughter to marry a prince.The princess and the peasant met secretly on a field margin,far away from the village and the princess’s mother.As time went by,the queen became suspicious.When she found out that her daughter had opposed her orders to stay away from the peasant,she became so angry that she visited a magician.With the help of the magician the queen transformed her daughter into a flower,the succory.The beautiful hue of blue of the princess’s eyes gave the flower the well-known color.Once people start to recognize the miraculous powers of nature,and the beauty that it holds,the princess will be able to transform into her human self again. #Fairytale |
