| On a cold day one January, this young woman's portrait was painted just before she left her home without a word, a letter clutched tightly in her hand. Three days later, her body was found in a forest, yet there was not a mark found on her. The letter was nowhere to be seen. Her portrait was never hung, and when the girl's home caught fire unexpectedly the portrait was the only thing to escape unscathed. A strange figure was reported to have been seen walking through the ashes, Soon after, the portrait vanished, though the mysterious shadow was often claimed to have been spotted by wealthy travelers in the same forest where the girl had died.
If anyone can guess what happened, I will write the story. If not...her spirit will never find peace, for no one will know what truly happened... |
