Elsa Art Deco Couture

Game by: GirlsPlay

This is a simple dress up game, but I thought the art style was just so lovely! Finally, an Elsa cross over game that pushes the design envelope. Here we meet up with Princess Elsa who has decided to try out the Art Deco style. The game features a lovely, albeit small, assortment of intricate hairstyles, beautiful gowns and make up options. It's been a while since I've seen games using the simple click-through menu method, but it really works here. The selection of make up is simple, but each option is really nice and not over the top. You can change Elsa's lipstick, blush, eyeshadow (with some shimmery options), eyelashes, eye colors and eyebrows. All of the eyebrow colors work nicely with her blonde hair which is also a pleasant surprise. There is no frustrating cleansing section haha, and it starts right at the very nice make over. There are a few gorgeous hairstyles with lovely accessories, although I do wish that one could mix and match the two. Appropriately to the theme, there is a 20s flapper hairdo! You'll find roses, ribbons, pearls and feathers scattered among the hair. There are five gowns, each with a unique mix of jewelry and sparkles. Accessorize with earrings and purses. Now the art style actually seems to me to be encompassing both art nouveau (soft flowy lines) *and* art deco (geometric shapes), which I guess is possible since they did happen one after the other. What do you guys think? Is this fashion style a good fit for a Disney Princess? Enjoy!
