Lets start with Marzin: I gave her fighting parents, an abusive dad, a high strung other-dad, a sick little brother, and on top of it all, she has to deal with self-image issues and alcoholism. Also, she was raped (i hate using that word, honestly) multiple times during WWII, causing her to distrust a lot of people because she sees a lot of characteristics as something bad even now.

Now, Faeroe: His parents are on again/off again, hes seen them fight his whole life, and until he got close to Sweden and Finland he thought that was what love was like, the woman who raised him (who was just a human) died in his arms when he was just (physically) eleven, he has a gender crisis and can't decide, and he struggles with loving himself as he is. But, he actually has to act cheerful, because thats what everyone likes him for.

Stockholm: Okay, this is probably gonna be either really long, or really short. One, the Stockholm Bloodbath. She can't even look at blood without a whole slew of horrible images coming up, even after all this time. She hates someone she used to be in love with, and he made it nearly impossible for her to trust men other than her brother, she's jumpy and panicky if someone mentions anything about her childhood, and she is horrified, horrified of battle axes. 

Carmen: She's a jumpy scaredy cat who hates loud noises because she was abused emotionally/sexually/phsyically by her uncle, and her mother died right in front of her when she was only six. 

Now, an OC of mine called The Grey: Basically, they're an agender shadow-demon who was under the control of a fifty shades of fucked up woman called The Mistress who made them kill people/attack innocent animals/stalk people, and when they were freed, they were so nervous and scared, even when they were offered food, somewhere to live and to change their name, they panicked and started crying because they didn't know how to react otherwise because The Mistress wasn't nice at all to them. 

Dont think I didn't ruin The Mistress'/Rita's life, too: She was a rich, sucessful as all hell woman, married, but when she tried to have kids, they all miscarried or were stillborn, and her husband cheated, she fled her life of luxury, bringing money with, lived in a half-ruined mansion and bringing in multiple kids/'cute' people who she found interesting, and went insane from loneliness, got infected by a spider-demon who gave her the ablities of a spider (and not in a cool way like Spiderman, in a dangerous way) and she lost the girl she called her daughter. Not to mention in that time, she completely forgot how romance worked, and when she got a crush on someone (younger than her!!) she turned into a blushing schoolgirl and almost killed said person by trying to hug them protectively.
