Heaven (and everything in it)

rural and fancy afterlife. divided into 7 color coded regions.

angels have a lighter color scheme.

center of heaven: michael’s residence, everything around it is light grey and organised

souls who at least did lots of good in their lives get sent here.

rules: somewhat strict

Hell (and everything in it)

urban and simplistic afterlife. divided into 7 color coded regions.

demons have a darker color scheme.

center of hell: lucien’s residence, everything around it is dark grey and an overall mess

souls who at least screwed up big time intentionally get sent here.

rules: almost no rules

Humanity:

souls who are just messed up and no one likes them gets erased

if any souls somehow manage to escape any of the afterlives and roam the earth, they’ll slowly corrupt into monstrous forms. those are called “GHOSTS”.

when a soul slowly corrupts into a ghost, they’ll be slightly more visible.

there’s no way to turn a ghost back to normal. special forces consisting of angels and/or demons are sent to erase them. (unless someone finds a more peaceful way)

alongside body corruption, ghosts will slowly lose their memory.

how are souls sent to either heaven or hell? they’re basically uploaded to some kind of purgatory where a very long queue of souls wait for their life to be judged by someone.

the things ghosts can feel: slight emotions and pain from corrupting.

the things ghosts can’t feel: anything.

Things about Angels and Demons specifically:

those forces sent to erase ghosts are slightly higher (read: level 3 in an rpg) angels/demons called “grim reapers”.

angels/demons can shape shift into almost anything and back to their animal-like forms. if they shape shift into humans, they at least have clothing related to their true form (some birds can have long capes, some snakes can have snakeskin jackets, etc).

they have their own language (which i still need to make smh).

they’ve blended in with human society already.

questionable morals.

they can be employed in ordinary mundane human jobs if they wanted to.

angels/demons have very long lifespans; they CAN die if they’re too reckless.

they are able to have a child if they want.

where do dead angels/demons go? they don’t. their soul slowly fades out, leaving behind their physical body to decompose into nothing.

able to reproduce asexually.

demons have default animal-like forms. reapers have more unnatural forms. (as in a tad more creepier)

Things about the Big Boys(tm):

they can shape shift into anything. no one (but certain people) can even survive seeing their true form with naked eyes, so they stick with the humanoid look everyone else sees.

they can’t go outside of the afterlives. they’re bound to those.

something happened that made them the current gods of earth.

michael is the responsible, hard-working younger brother.

lucien is the irresponsible, slacky older brother.

they are immortal. if they were both killed; the world and universe will reset.

“Lucien, please be productive for once.” Michael sighed.

“fuk off” whined Lucien.

Things concerning Angels/Demons and Humans:

if a human manages to give birth to children with an angel/demon parent, there is a very little chance of them having inherited their parent’s powers.

one thing to tell half-children apart from pure human children are streaks of unnatural hair color.
