Backstory: No one knows what their past is. (except maybe HM) Rumors say that Adam is the result of a very romantic relationship between a Demon and an Angel, and that their true form is a tall, slightly horrifying, giant tree monster. Other rumors say that they used to be human, abandoned by their parents in their youth, and then taken in and raised by Death itself. Try asking about the rumors directly to their face, and all they'll do is a slow wink. How do they even wink with that cool heart-shaped eyepatch?

• Why did Adam decide to work at Chesterfield? They wanted to take a ( )eak from their usual job. (hint: erasing corrupted escaped souls/ghosts, being a leader is a really tough job ya know)
• How did Adam get that cool eyepatch? That's the only personal question they won't wink and shrug off. They'll keep changing the reason why. One example being is that they'll say that they got it from an accident involving a banana peel and hot coffee. Like how a man killed another man with just a thumb.
• Adam is absurdly tall for someone with a feminine figure. (6'2")
• People say that Adam's constant flirting is their way of coping for losing someone they were close to. Asking about that will leave them in a flashback. Wow, a lot of rumors come around about them, for some reason.

Dislikes: Being compared, Certain aspects of himself

Personality: Mostly serious. Likes to keep things short for things they consider uninteresting. They can still goof off while sounding serious. A man of a few words. Somewhat charismatic. When ticked off enough, he acts very, VERY differently.

Backstory: Noel was born to a Seraph father and a human mother. Their father was... particularly fascinating. He knew a certain Heaven God personally, and was very close to him. Their mother, on the other hand, is a historian/ex-scientist, specializing in documenting and researching odd, certain parts of history (mostly involving angels and demons and any other creature in between). Her current project is looking into a specific incident involving a ghost being bound together with a human. Now, who were we talking about? Oh yeah. Their child. Noel was a perky kid. They would be constantly interested in learning all kinds of history. When they went to school, they'd get nearly perfect grades in every subject there was. Aside from that, they didn't have a friend who they would properly open up to... Then, he met a boy named Nicolas. Nico was constantly bullied, all because he looked strange. Having one yellow eye and one blue eye... They all called him a "devil". Noel stood up for Nico every time he'd get bullied. This would go on for years, until... Noel's parents decided they should move to a different country, due to "important issues". When they did, Noel never got to say "goodbye" to Nico, the only closest friend they had. Months after that, they became much different than they were. They became cold, and distant. Generally less happy. Everything just wasn't the same without Nico. Some time later, they dyed their hair to a very different color from dark green, in hopes of not worrying about missing Nico. Years later, Noel finally developed his powers. To them, those weren't really interesting... And they found out the reason behind why their family moved. As it turns out, his father was actually a direct descendant of someone infamous(?), and people were attempting to forcibly get something out of him. Noel reacted... somewhat negatively. It was someone whose works that Noel was really interested in, They were never told this, and the fact Noel thinks they'll never be up to their idol's standards. Aside from that reveal that made them a bit more colder, their mother found a new school for them. Chesterfield Academy. What kind of things will they experience there?

Nicolas Kasumi

Abilities: Short Invisibility (as in like he can turn invisible for like 5 seconds and stops himself there because it tires him quite a lot), Enhanced Reflexes

Likes: Seafood (especially sushi and tuna sandwiches), Cute things, Cats

Dislikes: Fancypants-type People (coughcoughvalentinecough)

Personality: Pretty perky, a bit forceful (oof), a bit passive aggressive (oof), but pretty easy to get along. Could sound sarcastic and cheerful at the same time. Constantly keeps a smile on his face. (think Todomatsu except less of an attention wh0re) It's sometimes hard to tell if he's serious or just teasing. A bit too honest.

Backstory: Nico was born into a somewhat rich family. His human father was working at a company that specializes in science, and his mother had a part time job at somewhere(?). She never told him. Maybe it was for the best? Nico's father barely had time to spend some time with him for reasons unknown, so his mother was always there for him. Sometimes, when Nico's mother was out for her work, he would find a stray cat wandering around the house garden. He always had this instinct to play with it every time it came over. It felt familiar, but... Then, few months after Nico turned 9, he woke up to see his mother gone. It could be just work, right? Nope. He checked every room in the house, until he checked his parents' bedroom... There it was. His mother's body, lying dead on the floor. It looked strange though... as if patches of white and light ( )own fur were around her body. "...what does this mean...?" Nico thought to himself, ( )eaking down in silence as he stared more at the corpse. No one could enter the bedroom except himself, his mom, and... No, it couldn't be his own dad. But it's too plausible... He finally thought of it. It was time to run away and never come back. Nico did just that, going away from home as far as he can. A few days later, he found an orphanage that allowed him to stay. He got along with the other kids and some of the staff. And then, there was Rose. Nico felt like she was a big sister he never had, understanding why he came here and being there for him. She's one of the only people he openly trusts. Five and a half years later, Nico found out that he had powers that he thought he'd never have. Surprised and joyed at the revelation, Rose suggested a certain academy he could attend. She used to study there, after all. Nico agreed to enroll into Chesterfield Academy, and now here he is.

Some Fun Facts

• Nico is obviously a weeb.
• Really good at staring contests. It's like he can't even blink at all!
• Would most likely play Neko Atsume (or any other pet caring games like tamagotchi) with no signs of ever forgetting about it.
• Never, EVER, call him a "devil". He's already been bullied with that name in the past. He doesn't want to hear anyone call him that ever again. Along with finding his mother's corpse, this is one of his worst memories. But he wouldn't spill them out so easily with everyone else.

Dolores Renata

Dislikes: Swingsets

Personality: Quiet. Shy. Anxious. Gets infuriated at very small details. Will talk too much and give too much information unexpectedly.

Backstory: Dolores had a sheltered childhood. She barely had any chances to go out somewhere thanks to her only overprotective father, a certain Mr. L. Renata. (gee whiz i wonder who this man could be) He says that he doesn't want to lose her forever like her other father (maaaaan we'll never find out who this guy is either lmao) did. Other than that, Dolores had a considerably plain and uninteresting childhood. When Dolores turned 9, her father gave her a necklace with a special pendant. She doesn't know what it really does, Mr. Renata just said it belonged to Mr. Missing Dad. It'll probably be of good use later in her life. How did she enroll into Chesterfield Academy? That was one of her father's attempts to give her education. All the other attempts were just him attempting to homeschool his daughter and ultimately failing.

Some Fun Facts:

• Dolores has a guilty pleasure for Anime. (look it's just interesting to her don't fvckin call her a weeb that's just r00d)
• Really likes anything of the supernatural. Especially things relating to Ghosts and Angels/Demons. Maybe it's just her general interest, or...
• Sometimes has weird dreams about an ambiguously evil person with a gray color palette, a guy who looks oddly like a younger version of her father, a nifty-looking ghost, an ancient ominous mask that assimilates people who wear it, lots of betrayal, and a blonde girl. Two halves of the things Dolores dreams about never happens in one dream. (she should really stop her anime addiction it's too unhealthy)

Personality: Loud. Overconfident. Reckless. A mess. A TSUNDERE. Has an inferiority complex regarding certain aspects about herself (such as her only power).

Backstory: Elise was a peppy child. She used to have fun alot along with her late sister, Cherie Dianne. That is, until that very moment happened. One day, Elise and Cherie strayed too far from home while role-playing. They found an obviously menacing looking cave. "Why not continue there?" Elise thought of that idea. Cherie was hesitant. A suspicious looking cave? That's an immediate no-no. But Elise kept insisting that they should go there. To satisfy her little sibling's demands, she eventually gave in. They kept role-playing until... Elise accidentally pushed Cherie off a cliff. What was under that cliff? A deep pit of pointy-looking stalagmites. What did that result in? Cherie's fast death. Elise didn't believe it. Having accidentally killed her own big sister and seeing her die with her own eyes... That's gonna traumatize her for life. Ever since that accident, Elise constantly blamed herself for her sister's death, and became generally less cheerful and more of a jerk. How did Elise get into Chesterfield Academy? Honestly, it was a last resort for her parents after numerous incidents from the last school she went to.

Some Fun Facts:

• Elise really enjoyed looking at the starry night sky along with her sister. Watching it now gives at least a comforting and nostalgic feeling to her. It's either just her happy memories, or...
• Has an interest for Anime. (call her a weeb instead)
• Sometimes have dreams about gods and something about chaos. Elise sometimes wonders if she was really cool in a past life... (not like anyone believes in those kinda myths haha)
