Viper sits at a table. The small room had nothing other than two chairs and a cold metal table. She awaits Surge. He had said he was going to talk to her today, something about a group, spawn of the orginal Avengers, and some mission they had to go on. Earlier, their group had made themselves known during an attack on the high school that there young heroes attened. It didn't end well for Viper and her team.
Her team, named after the one thing they stand to create. Chaos.
In the few months Viper's spent with them, she's perfected her skill. She is now skilled in martial arts, knife fighting, and using her venom to kill. Her outfit doesn't look too bad either. She works well with the others, but none of them would call it getting along. Except with Surge.
Viper spends most of her time with him, training or not, and she enjoys every second of it. He challenges her physically and mentally.
Surge, of course, enjoys Viper's company as much as she enjoys his. He'd debated if it was inappropiate to ask her on a date. Dating wasn't exactly for him, but he saw some promise here.
Today they were going on a casual afair. Surge and Viper were acting as recruiters today. A young boy, Rhys Lauyfeyson, has the potentiol to be as great as his father. Not to mention an asset to Chaos.
Surge walks into the room, sitting across from Viper with a warm smile. He explains their mission, and how they are to be inconspicuous. They need to dress normally. No weapons allowed. They had tracked the demi-god to Cental Park, and soon they were on their way.
As they walk the paths, they survey the crowd. Impulsivley, Surge reaches over and takes Viper's hand. She turns, and glares, a low hiss forming in the back of her throat.
"For cover." Surge explains. A ittle white like couldn't hurt, right?
Viper nods slowly, not entirely believing him. "Don't try anything." Though she wasn't sure if she wanted that.
"No promises." A mischevious smile spreads on his face.
Viper rolls her eyes. "You're nothing but trouble, Surge."
"Damien." He corrects. "Or have you forgotten?"
"I haven't forgotten anything. I like Surge better."
"You thought it was stupid when we first met."
"I think differently now. About everything."
"Perhaps. What is your goal here?" She raises an eyebrow.
"Whatever you'll let me achive."
Viper laughs. "Good answer."
"Viper!" Surge exclaims suddenly, pointing at their target. "There!"
Viper smirks. "Let me do the talking, babe." She pull him over to where four heroes sit, including Rhys Laufeyson.
Yes this is probably the end of this series
