Kimono Maker (folk dress up game)
Quimono - Chimono - Кимоно
Dress up this beautiful girl in a traditional Japanese Kimono, with some modern twists.
If you are interested in the different layers that are involved in a Kimono, there is a great and somewhat hilarious guide here: The Kinds of Kimono.
Instructions: The Kimono must be put on in layers. As you put on each layer (by dragging and dropping), another flower will bloom and become clickable. Clicking the next flower will allow you to put on the next layer.
Hair - the fifth flower controls the hair and accessories. The flowers on the bottom change the hair color, while the larger blossoms change hair style (Choose from traditional or Harajuku inspired styles). Further decorate the hair by using the kanzashi (Japanese hair accessories). Drag n' drop them anywhere on the left of the screen. Drag them to the right side of the screen to delete them.
Genetics & Accessories - the sixth flower allows you to change eye and hair color. You can also choose from a few noses and lips, as well as a colorful array of makeup choices (Choose from traditional Geisha makeup or more radical Geisha-inspired looks). Accessorize your Japanese beauty with fans or umbrellas.
Background - the seventh flower will hide all options except the Background and Print buttons. Simply click on the seventh flower again to bring back the other blossom-buttons. Choose from lovely scenes inspired by traditional Japanese art.
Printing - the Print button will appear after clicking on the seventh blossom. Choose whether you want to print a full-color picture, or a version optimized for coloring by hand. Only the girl will print, not the background. The hair accessories do not have a white-out version and will print as they appear.
Ideas: Dress yourself up in a beautiful kimono, create a Japanese Princess who was so wise and beautiful that she was portrayed in paintings for hundreds of years, or put a modern spin on the traditional folk costume.
Wanna save her? Hit the "Print Screen" (PrtScn) button on your keyboard, then "Paste" into a new file, in an imaging program (Photoshop, Paint etc.). You'll have to crop the image to your liking.
(I'm slowly working on coding an easier way to save the dolls.. if anyone has any good Flash scripts for this, please do share :D )
